…and she ran

courtney recently finished an eighteen week training for a marathon. she finished in style by running 26.2 miles all throughout the city of dallas. my wife is pretty impressive in general but this was a feat of discipline and strength that i had never seen in her. she finished in 4:10:28 which was 82nd in her division, 411th among females and 1716th overall. i saw her twice throughout the race and was impressed by her perseverance both times. in the end i was able to catch up with her but all she wanted to do was sit down and rest. if you get a chance to check out some of the pictures from the finish here they are. pretty impressive, i know! hopefully there will be some pictures to follow.
